| Boxing Two Hundred Thousand Meals. Saving Lives Tulsa Hope 2010 is an event on April 16 - 17 where over 1,000 volunteers will pack 200,000 meals for starving children. Each life-saving meal costs only 17 cents. These meals are given personally to the children who need them. We need funds to purchase ingredients. Consider skipping a meal a week and giving the savings to feed starving children. |
How our mission has changed. Our original goal was to recruit 5,000 volunteers to pack one million meals. Because we were not able to come close to raising the $170,000 necessary to purchase the ingredients, we have modified our goal to reflect our ability to raise funds. We know God will use every one of the 200,000 meals that will be packed at Liberty Church and The Assembly at Broken Arrow to nourish starving children around the globe. |
