They are located just blocks from where thousands of people live. Tulsa Hope is an organized effort among Tulsa-area churches to connect with those closest to them… their neighbors.

We have developed a

NEED-POSTING WEBSITE

called Ask Others as a tool to reach people.

Everyone has a need for something every week. Ask Others gives people a way to post anything they need with the goal that others will respond with offers to help.

Tulsa Hope will

OPEN DOORS

to opportunities to start conversations and extend invitations to church.

The church is where people will learn how to know and engage with God.

Tulsa Hope seeks to enlist the church to

LEAD THE WAY

by modeling how to meet one another’s needs and then inviting their neighborhood to join.

Neighbors posting and responding to one another’s needs helps people get to know and engage with others.

Our goal is for churches to

ADOPT THE SQUARE MILE

where their church is located and consider adopting a square mile that does not have a church.

This ensures that every Tulsa-area neighborhood has been reached with the hope of the gospel through the kindness of others.

For your church to participate,

CHOOSE SQUARE MILES TO ADOPT

and order magnetic “TO-DO” boards to give to your membership and the neighbors in your square mile(s).

These boards are designed to be placed on refrigerators, used as a family to-do list, and be a constant reminder to offer help and to ask others for help. Your church can customize both sides of the board. These boards cost $1 each.

Give “TO-DO” boards to your congregation and

START POSTING NEEDS

in the neighborhood group for fellow members to meet.
Have a group from your congregation

GO DOOR-TO-DOOR

and give out “TO-DO” boards to the neighbors in your square mile.

Neighbors will begin to post their needs and meet the needs of others. This gives your congregation a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors and invite them to visit the church.

Steps to participate Tulsa Hope

    Choose

    Choose the square miles of homes that you want to adopt.

    Order

    Order magnetic “TO-DO” boards to give to your members and neighbors.

    Post

    Encourage a group of people from your church start posting needs on Ask Others. Have them invite others from the church to join.

    Distribute

    Have a group of people go door-to-door giving “TO-DO” boards and inviting your neighbors to start posting and meeting needs.

    Invite

    Use the Ask Others platform to meet the needs of others in the neighborhood and then invite them to visit your church.
